Policy Promise
The people who have been running Canada promised us in 1949, that....."the union of Newfoundland and Labrador would be fair and equitable to the like extent of all Provinces originally united in Confederation"........
Our objectives are:
1. to be the voice and advocate for the issues and interests of the people of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Federal Political Arena with the sole mandate of representing the people of Newfoundland and Labrador First and Foremost,
2. to fight for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador to attain that promised "Fair and Equitable Treatment" of 1949,
3. to recover control of Newfoundland and
Labrador's rich natural resources and their revenues,
4. to fight for the upgrade of Marine Atlantic Services to the promised levels under the Terms of Union with Canada,
5. to recover, from the Federal Government of Canada, the financial loss forced onto the people of the Province by the Conservative Budget of 2009 and supported by the Newfoundland and Labrador Liberal MP's that violated the trust of the people by supporting that budget,
6. to enhance, support and promote the Heritage and Culture of Newfoundland and Labrador,
7. to fight for sole management rights of the fishery resources within the 200 mile limit and to enhance that area to 350 miles
8. to promise that all Elected Members of the NL First Party will be attentive to all issues of the people that elected them as they arise and those Elected Members will at all times conduct themselves in an ethical manner and display integrity, honesty and concern for the best interest of those that placed them in such a position of trust.
