NL First Leader - " We Are Still Determined..."
2009-09-19
While CBC was reporting last night that the Harper Government has survived yet
another Non-Confidence Vote as both the NDP and the Bloc supported a crucial Ways-
and-Means Motion, NL First Leader, Wayne Bennett was not deterred in continuing the
ongoing preparations for the next Federal Election.
"It is now most likely that there will not be an election until later, possible
in the spring.", says Bennett.
"But now that we have the ball rolling, we will keep it rolling as we gain
momentum going into the New Year."
"With the Party adding new members each week, we are steadfast in our work to
establish the seven Riding Associations." Bennett announced.
"Not only will this continue to legitimized the party outside the overpass but
it would also be a mechanism to continue to increase our membership and to raise
much needed funds. This, along with the great work of our Executive Council and
Constitution Committee, will ensure that the Party will be ready to offer itself
to the Electorate of Newfoundland and Labrador as the only viable alternative to
the Political Puppets that the National Federal Parties are offering and will
solidify the NL First Party as the only Federal Political Party with the interests
and needs of the People and the Province as their only Mandate."
