We want our money returned to us!
2009-09-23
Nova Scotia Liberal M.P. Scott Brisson went to the airways in Newfoundland and Labrador this morning to tout the job that the present Liberal M.P.s from this province are doing and how they are working hard for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador daily in the House of Commons.
This type of transparent campaigning for each other within the federal Liberal caucus is laughable when you look at the fact that these same Newfoundland and Labrador Liberal M.P.s, and this same federal Liberal party, voted to take upwards of 1 billion dollars from the People of Newfoundland and Labrador when they supported the last Harper Conservative budget.
You see these federal Liberal Newfoundland and Labrador M.P.s think more about what their leader wants them to do rather than doing what the people that voted for them want done. They fight to gain success for their leader, not for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Why should we be surprised? did we expect anything different this time around? This is just another example of what the national federal party members do on a daily basis. They stick to their own federal party caucus agenda. They do not have any ones best interests at heart but their own.
As soon as the next federal election is called, NL First Party will champion the causes and interests of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, not some egomaniac that leads a National Federal Party.
Our candidates will have one mandate. That mandate is absolutely and categorically the best interests of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and her people.
With the possibility of seven seats in the federal house of parliament, we will have a huge bartering position in a minority government in Ottawa.
Think about it! This province will have seven votes on each and every act of parliament meaning that on each and every vote in parliament will have a benefit attached to it for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador in order for us to support it.
In a minority government scenario seven votes are huge!. The national federal party leadership will have no choice but to take this province and her interests more seriously than ever before in her history.
One major battle cry in the next federal election will be we want our money returned!
NL First Party will fight to undo the damage that these present federal liberal M.P.s have done to us all, in their quest for their own personal gain.
